कुछ है कांच सा, जो टूट जाता है
कुछ है ,हीरे सा जो अटूट है।
रेत थी हाथ में जो ,अब धीरे धीरे सरक रही है
पर कुछ है ,जो अभी भी हाथ थामे रख रही है,
कुछ है कांच सा, जो टूट जाता है
कुछ है वज्र सा, जो सब कुछ जोड़े रखता है
फूल थे जो दिल के बागान में ,
किसने तोड़ लिए ? कुछ पता नहीं
पर कुछ है , जिससे माहौल अभी भी महक रहा है
कुछ है कांच सा ,जो टूट जाता है
कुछ है लोहे सा, जो मजबूत है
अभ्र सारे बरस कर कबके यहां से चल दिए,
पर कुछ है, जो बनके अश्क मूसलाधार बरसे जा रहे।
कुछ है कांच सा ,जो टूट जाता है
कुछ है चट्टान सा, जो अडिग है
चांदनी थी जो कुछ पल की, अंधेरे में अब बदल गई।
लेकिन इस अंधेरी रात में भी ,
कुछ है जो ,मेरे सीने में पूर्णिमा के चांद की तरह चमक रहा है।
कुछ है कांच सा,जो टूट जाता है
कुछ है श्वाश सा ,जो हर पल साथ है
इस गरम मौसम में ,शरीर पूरी तरह झुलस रहा है
पर कुछ है पानी की तरह ,जो थोड़ी ठंडक देता है।
कुछ है कांच सा,जो टूट जाता है
कुछ है रेगिस्तान में उगे किसी वृक्ष सा,
जो मन को सुकून देता है।
कोई तूफान सब कुछ उजाड़ने पे आतुर है
पर कुछ है, जो मां के किसी टोटके की तरह
मुझे हमेशा सुरक्षित रखता है।।

Something is like a glass, which breaks
something is like a diamond which is unbreakable.
The sand that was in hand, is now slowly moving
But there is something, which is still holding hands,
Something is like a glass, which breaks
something is like a thunderbolt, which keeps everything connected
There were flowers in the garden of my heart,
Who broke? Nothing is known
But there is something, which is still smelling
something is like glass which breaks
something is like iron, which is very strong
The clouds went away from here
But there are something still here which is raining tears..
Something is like a glass, which breaks
Something is like a rock, which is unshakable
It was the moonlight which for a few moments, turned into darkness now.
But even in this dark night,
There is something that shines in my chest like a full moon
something is like a glass which breaks
something is like breath that accompanies every moment
In this hot weather, the body is completely scorched
But something is like water, which gives some coolness.
Something is like a glass, which breaks
something is like a tree growing in the desert,
Which relaxes the mind.
A storm is eager to destroy everything
But there is a something like mother's tricks
That alwayas keep me safe.
